İkizler Adam Fragmanı Genç Will Smith'in Yaşlı Will Smith'i Avladığını Görüyor

Paramount Pictures and Skydance released the trailer for Will Smith’s upcoming sci-fi action flick, İkizler Adamı. It’s directed by the legendary Ang Lee, who made the original 2003 version of Hulk and the award-winning flick Pi Yaşam.

The trailer is filled to the brim with action in its modest two minute runtime. It starts with an older Will Smith on a motorcycle being hunted by a guy on a motorcycle. He’s shooting at the motorcycle rider while being shot at.

The trailer then reveals that the man chasing Will Smith is actually… Will Smith. Yep, it’s one of those movies. You can check out the trailer courtesy of Moviefone.

So the gist is that Will Smith was a one-of-a-kind operative and so he was cloned. Yes, it takes the whole Big Boss cloning sub-plot from the Metal Gear Solid franchise and extrapolates it into an entire film.

But it doesn’t end there, the movie also borrows from the time-conundrum flick, Lüper, since Clive Owen has young Will Smith to hunt down and kill older Will Smith.

Gemini Man - Young Will Smith

I’m not sure what else there is to the movie or why exactly the company wants a young Will Smith to kill the older Will Smith, but I can’t help but think that this would have been a pretty cool flick for someone like Scott Adkins to play in.

I don’t know how well Adkins would do with the lachrymal aspects of the role required for all the emotional fluff, but he certainly would have aced the action elements.

As for the CGI younger Will Smith, I can’t say it looks great. At times he definitely looks young, but other times he also looks… odd. The entire lower jaw in during the segment where he was explaining to Clive Owens how he wasn’t able to thwart his older self – starting at the 18 second mark – it looked like his face from the nose down was pasted onto his head.

I can’t say I’m terribly excited about the film. The premise is okay but it seems pretty cliché, almost like Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Altıncı Gün only with Will Smith. I can almost imagine that the two Will Smiths will even team up at the end to fight the evil corp, like every other cliché movie about ethically questionable cloning. I suppose we’ll find out whether or not it’s an actual cliché and just another retread of past movies or if Ang Lee will manage to generate some kind of roseate to entice moviegoers into theaters this October when İkizler Adamı hits a theater near you.
