Although Sega is looking to bring back some of its classic games from the past as well as new IPs in the future, the company currently plans to release its classic games across iOS and Android devices through a new title called Sega Forever on June 22nd.
In recent news, Sega has announced that a new bundle-like of classic titles will be available tomorrow and goes by the name of Sega Forever. The bundle or collection of games sports classic video games from every console era and each game is said to be playable for free on your mobile device.
As of this writing the soon to be launched Sega Forever will be up for download when June 22nd arrives, which is tomorrow. However, two things worth noting is that every game is free-to-play and ad-supported. Additionally, this means that users must pay $1.99 to remove ads.
Furthermore, each of the games are playable offline and include additional features like cloud saves, controller support and leaderboards. Launch lineups include five Mega Drive titles and iMessage sticker packs for those on iOS devices. The five launch games can be seen below:
- Sonic the Hedgehog
- Phantasy Star II
- Comix Zone
- Çocuk Bukalesi

As the library grows from the current five games (as noted above) in the months and years to come, all titles are said to stay true to their original counterpart, except for the controls and coding for mobile emulation support. Moreover, each new entry will reflect the different generations of Sega consoles and era specific games in a mobile package.
